Graeme Mackie

We walked down Love Street my father and me, Saints’ 100th anniversary against the great Liverpool side of 1977 , Dalgeish etc.

My sister never got picked up from Brownies that night as me and my Dad stood at the Love St. end (where we never stood-but the Cairters was for men that night).

It ended 1-0 Liverpool after extra time and Phil Neil et al got away with their reputations intact; perhaps it was the start of Fergie’s rivalry with the ‘Pool, who knows ?

Memories are good … “A joy to watch”

Miss Love Street, love St Mirren, Graeme
