It was at the old Boghead Park, I cant remember the exact year, but we were playing St Mirren and were 3-0 down with about 10 minutes to go.
All of a sudden, Dumbarton scored three quick goals to earn a draw. What was funny was that a lot of the home support had left to ‘drown their sorrows’ with a beer or two and missed the goals.
I can also remember the then St Mirren manager storming down the tunnel at the end of the match.
Boy, did we feel sorry for the players … or not!
