During my time at the club the Peterhead game when we won the Third Division title in 2003 certainly stands out in many ways; it was memorable for many reasons.

Douglas [Rae] had just come in and taken over the club at the time and was able to take the club forward in terms of the finances he had.

The fans were very proactive in raising money so far as they could but obviously it took a successful businessman to carry that forward.

I think there had been a few consortiums interested but it really took a man with as successful a business as his and his love for the club to take things forward.
